Local OPP officers are going to be collecting unwanted or old medication this weekend. Saturday, May 9 is Prescription Drug Drop Off Day. There are drop off locations at both the Huntsville and Bracebridge OPP detachments from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The OPP says it’s an effort to keep drugs out of the wrong hands. You can also bring you unwanted medications to your local pharmacy if you can’t make it out on Saturday.
