Bracebridge businesses could have to pay $100 for outdoor patio approval

Bracebridge businesses that want to have an outdoor patio could be asked to pay a $100 fee. That proposal will be discussed by councillors soon at Town hall. The outdoor patio license application fee is seen by the Town as a way partially offsetting the cost of processing applications. In the past, Bracebridge has had four outdoor patio agreements in place with four downtown businesses but all the agreements are expired at this time. Typically outdoor patios that have been approved in Bracebridge have been limited to a few tables and chairs in front of businesses.
