Bracebridge Rotary Club raising money for Nepal earthquake victims

The Bracebridge Rotary Club is helping raise money to help people affected by the Nepal earthquake. For every dollar donated to their Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund up to $5,000, they will match the donation and then have that matched by the Federal government’s effort. This means every dollar raised locally will end up being $4 going towards Nepal relief. More from chair of the Rotary Club’s world community service committee Peter Rickard…

Tax receipts will be issued by the club. The club hopes to see donations come in by May 15th. Cheques should be made out to the Rotary Club of Bracebridge. They can be sent to The Rotary Club of Bracebridge, PO Box 1140 Bracebridge, P1L 1V3 or dropped off at One Fifty Five Restaurant 155 Manitoba Street.
