The Auditor General has confirmed what our MPP has been saying all along about winter road maintenance.
Yesterday morning, Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller was in the Legislature to witness the tabling of the Ontario Auditor General’s special report on winter highway maintenance.
Miller says the Auditor confirmed that winter road maintenance has deteriorated in the past few years and he explains what was in the report.
The report was requested through a PC motion when Miller was Chair of the Public Accounts Committee.
He hopes that moving forward the Liberal Government will take action on the findings of the Auditor General to see that our roads are safer for the next winter season.
