Gravenhurst celebrates local paralympic athlete Graeme Murray

The Town of Gravenhurst shows their support for local athlete, Graeme Murray. A celebration was held today from 1pm-3pm at the Oar & Paddle Restaurant in Gravenhurst. Many people attended including Gravenhurst Mayor Paisley Donaldson. The celebration was held in honour of Murray and his Paralympic accomplishments. Murray played defense for the Men’s Sledge Hockey Team, which took bronze at the 2014 Sochi Paralympics in Russia after defeating Norway 3-0. The event included tasty treats, a book signing, autographs and hockey.
