High School students in Bracebridge can apply for Britton Family Scholarships
Students graduating from BMLSS and St. Dominic’s this year can apply for some special scholarship money. This is the fourth year the $5,000 Britton Family scholarships have been offered to grads who are pursuing post-secondary education. Up to four scholarships are awarded each year to grads who demonstrate both excellent academic achievement and financial need.
The scholarships are funded by Ted Britton, founder of the Bracebridge Examiner. He says they’ve been able to help many talented young people in the past four years and he’s looking forward to receiving this year’s applications. Applications have to be in to the school’s guidance offices by May 29th.
