Three local women came in fifth place at the Boston Marathon. Jessica Sheppard, Katherine Ahokas and Martina Morton raced as the Muskoka Algonquin Runners, competing in the Women’s Open team division. The SportLab’s Dr. Lowell Greib says it took these women two years to prepare. Greib also took part in the race with  other local athletes including Pierre Mikhail, Mark Sinnige, Dave Johnstone and Troy Cox. Cox came in 507th place out of 30,000 racers.
