Local women have a chance to learn more about their hormones. Dr. Marita Schauch, a naturopathic physician who lectures across North America will be speaking about that topic at the Bracebridge Rotary Centre for Youth later this month. Schauch says hormones are very important chemical messengers in the body and if one is out of balance it has a ripple effect as everything in the body is connected. The talk is free and happens April 29 starting at 6 p.m. Men are also invited to attend, as hormones are not a one-gender concern. At the end of the talk there will be time to ask Schauch questions.
