Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Muskoka and Parry Sound. A low pressure system will make its way into Western Quebec this morning. In the wake of this system, blowing snow and strong winds are expected for areas east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Rain has changed to snow and a few cm are expected today. Northwest winds will produce wind gusts of up to 70 km/h. Winds will start to weaken this afternoon. Drivers are advised to use caution.
