Our MP announces new deal with the public sector unions

Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement is also the Treasury Board President of Canada. Reports say Clement will announce the new deal today, which will require retired civil servants to pay double in health benefit premiums. Right now, the federal government covers 75 per cent of the cost. It’s said the new deal could save Canada $7.5-billion over the next six years.
