Share your thoughts on possibly reopening the Huntsville Animal Shelter

You have days left to let the Animal Shelter for Huntsville know if you want them to re-open. The shelter released a survey earlier this month. Board Chair Peter Reeves says there are very specific questions the board wants answered.

There’s been a good response so far from the community. He says one of the major feedbacks they got was how residents were treated in the past by previous board members.

Reeves says residents also questioned some of their policies.

The deadline to fill out the survey is at 9pm, Monday, Mar. 31st. Reeves says they will looks at the results and determined whether there’s an appetite for the shelter to re-open.

If you didn’t get a survey in the mail you can still fill one out online at Survey Monkey. To keep up to date on what’s happening with the shelter you can go to their website or Facebook page.
