It may not look like it, but it is the first day of spring. Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, with Environment Canada, Geoff Coulson says spring officially arrives at about 1:00pm today.

Despite this gloomy forecast, Coulson says there may be a silver lining in this situation.

There will be days where we will get temperatures above the freezing mark. Coulson says normal temps for this time of year sits at around plus five degrees.
