Freezing rain warning in parts of Muskoka

While the special weather statement continues across the district, parts of Muskoka and Parry Sound are under a freezing rain warning as well. Environment Canada is telling us to prepare for snow mixed with ice pellets this morning, up to 10 centimetres expected. That will change to rain with risk of freezing rain later on as temps climb above zero. If you’re going to be out on our roads just be aware that there may some slippery conditions on your drive. Huntsville and Almaguin aren’t under a freezing rain warning.
