Snowmobiler facing 90 day licence suspension for DUI

The OFSC and local OPP are reminding snowmobilers to drive safety and make smart choices. On Saturday night, a patrol unit was heading down highway 117 in Lake of Bays when officers noticed three sledders. They attempted to stop the drivers for paperwork when one of the sleds tipped over. The other two drivers took off. Police have charged a 58-year-old man with drinking and driving. He also had his machine impounded for seven days and is facing a 90 day licence suspension. He’ll appear in court on March 19th.
