Bracebridge OPP have charged a Gravenhurst man for failing to remain at a collision that happened on Thursday. Police had asked for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that had been involved in a collision on Industrial Drive in Gravenhurst that day at 3:10pm.

Police quickly received a tip that led them to the suspect vehicle. The 63 year-old man has been charged with: impaired operation of a motor vehicle,  over 80, dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

The man will appear in Bracebridge Court May 5th to answer to the charges.

The partnership between the media and concerned members of the public who called in tips was critical in bringing this person to justice and Bracebridge OPP would like to thank everyone that assisted.
