Bracebridge Mayor says school board should help solve McMurray Street parking problem
Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith says taxpayers shouldn’t have to solely shoulder the cost of a solution to McMurray Street’s parking woes. Ongoing traffic congestion there continues during student pickup and drop off times at Bracebridge Public School. The Mayor says it’s a safety issue for students, what with the surge of school busses and cars there twice a day….
Widening the street is one idea, but Smith says the school board should help cover the cost. The Town plans to approach Trillium Lakelands again soon in the hopes they might help solve the problem once and for all.
