Bracebridge looking for ways to keep geese off beaches
Bracebridge is looking to clean up our beaches.
In a recent town meeting, council discussed solutions to geese droppings. Bracebridge has set aside $6,700 for the project and will be using Kirby’s beach as a test pilot. Mayor Graydon Smith has more.
While no solution has been selected, Public’s Works Director Walt Schmid says the town’s been approached by a local business who thinks garlic spray may help.
Expect more information in the near future.
