Police release name of third plane crash victim
The name of the third victim in a plane crash north of Parry Sound has been released.
After an additional post mortem investigation, West Parry Sound OPP is able to say that the third victim in the crash was 42-year-old Vilma Gumpal of Sudbury.
Last week, it was confirmed that 64-year-old Joseph Arseneau and 65-year-old Mary-Lou Arseneau, both of Sudbury were found dead following the crash.
The Piper plane reported that it was in distress just before 9:00am last Tuesday morning and was found the next day by in a desolate rugged terrain near the mouth of the French and Pickerel Rivers within the French River Provincial Park area.
