Our community is coming together to support the Bushey family. All Kawartha Credit Unions across the district has set up an account, where you can donate to help the family with travel and medical costs.
Over the weekend, the family were on their way to Georgia for an ATV race, when a serious collision killed Paul Bushey and sent his granddaughter, Gabriella, to hospital. She suffered a severe spinal injury and is waiting for surgery before she can be transported to Toronto.
Meantime, a fundraising dance is planned for later in April or May. If you want to donate gift cards or money and can’t get to a bank, you can drop it off at our station in Huntsville at 7 John Street. All the money raised will help Gabriella on her long trek to recovery.
