Bracebridge moves to protect public parking in the downtown
Bracebridge Council is moving to protect some valuable public parking space in downtown Bracebridge. This week council is expected to approve a lease agreement with Bracebridge United Church for the parking lot that has 13 spaces beside the church. The existing lease has been has been in place for 20 years now and the new one would be for another 20. The Town will pay the church one dollar for each year of the lease. To cover its end of the bargain, the Town will also continue with winter maintenance there and enforce parking bylaws.
