All Gravenhurst donation box theft charges withdrawn

Two Gravenhurst women who were charged in relation to several donation box thefts have had all their charges withdrawn. The charges were dropped by ‘Diversion’, that’s a program offered in courthouses throughout Ontario which is an alternative to prosecution. The idea is that helping out in the community can make up for the harm caused by an offence – it’s not known what diversion efforts the two women will take part in. Amber Lister had faced four counts of theft under $5,000 while Kristina Spence had faced two counts of theft under $5,000. List’s charges related to donation box thefts at Gravenhurst Pizza Pizza, Curries Music, Muskoka Bay Clothing and the Gravenhurst Fabricare Cleaning Centre, while Spence’s related to the Muskoka Bay Clothing and Fabricare incidents.
