Huntsville’s Ice Skating Trail a Major Draw for Winter Tourism in Muskoka

Huntsville’s ice skating trail at Arrowhead Provincial Park is putting Muskoka on the map. According to Muskoka Tourism, their ice trail website page has received over 45,000 page views this year, which is three times the number of page views the second most popular page on the website has received. Jordan Mulligan, Muskoka Tourism’s Marketing Manager, says the buzz the trail has generated this year has taken on a life of its own. Where the hits are coming from is great for local tourism too. Almost 50 percent of online visitors who viewed the trail web page were from the GTA, while over 90 percent were from outside the Muskoka region.
