East meets West at 3rd annual Huntsville Suzuki School of Music fundraiser

A fabulous Indian dinner this month will raise money for the Huntsville Suzuki School of Music. The school’s 3rd Annual East Indian Banquet Fundraiser happens March 28th.

The school boasts 25 violin, cello and viola students from throughout the area, who play mainly classical music. Last year’s fundraiser raised about $5,000 for the school and this year they want to raise more. Nearly 50 businesses have already donated auction items for the event. There will be one sitting at this year’s dinner, which is happening at the Huntsville Legion on the 28th at 6pm. Everything will be auctioned at the one sitting.

The school’s Director Phillip Kashap gives us an idea about what he’ll be cooking up that night…

He also dished on the great items that will be up for auction…

All the money will go towards the school’s ongoing costs. The school is based out of the Town’s train station and students will be playing at the event. To find out about tickets, visit mymuskokanow.com
