New handbook addresses Muskoka’s natural environment

A recently released book about Muskoka’s natural features is now available. The Muskoka Watershed Council’s ‘Living in Cottage Country: The What You Need to Know handbook’ is described as a valuable resource that will help visitors and residents protect the natural environment we all love. The handbook also includes tips on how you can live sustainably and help preserve Muskoka now and into the future.  Topics include dealing with wildlife, septic systems, drinking water, planning policy and regulations.
