Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday
We lose an hour of sleep this weekend. Daylight Saving Time starts on Sunday where we turn our clock ahead one hour and local firefighters are reminding residents to take this time to check the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. As well, this is a perfect time for everyone to make sure their smoke alarms are working. Working smoke alarms save lives; the lives of families and the lives of firefighters. If you experience a fire in your home, working smoke alarms will better ensure that you will be standing on the curb when your Fire Department arrives.
