OPP identify suspect in Huntsville IDA armed robbery case

Police have identified the suspect arrested in relation to Tuesday’s Huntsville IDA armed robbery. That day Huntsville OPP rushed to the IDA Drug Store on main street in response to an armed robbery.   Yesterday, just after 3pm in the village of Novar, the Muskoka Crime Unit, Almaguin Highlands Crime Unit and OPP detachment members, along with the assistance of Canine and Emergency Response Team members (ERT) arrested a male suspect in relation to the armed robbery.  23 year old Tristan Taylor of Perry Twp. has since been charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon, Firearm – Use while in Committing Offence, Disguise with Intent under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in Bracebridge today  to answer to his charges. The investigation is continuing.
