Police confirm arrest has been made in Huntsville armed IDA robbery case

OPP have confirmed with Moose FM that an arrest has been made in connection with Tuesday’s Huntsville IDA armed robbery. The arrest went down yesterday in the Burk’s Falls/Novar area between 3 and 4pm. 23 year old Tristan Taylor of Perry Twp. has since been charged with Robbery with a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon, Firearm – Use while in Committing Offence, Disguise with Intent under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in Bracebridge today to answer to his charges. The investigation is continuing.
