The pharmacist who was injured in Tuesday’s Huntsville IDA armed robbery is doing fine. Al Norton, the store’s Pharmacy Manager suffered a minor scrape on the forehead during a scuffle with the armed robber. Norton says he’d never experienced anything like that before..

Norton says all the emergency responders and customers did a fantastic job in helping him, as did victim services who followed up afterwards. Norton says the thief asked for opiates and got away with oxycodone. It’s the pharmacist’s opinion that there is a significant local addiction problem that needs to be addressed…
