OPP send strong message to irresponsible drivers

The OPP is sending a strong message to the public about irresponsible driving.  Police say drivers are irresponsible by not adjusting their behaviour when the weather changes. This week ten accidents were accounted for on highway 11 near Barrie. OPP Deputy Commissioner Brad Blair says the reason for this is people are driving with an attitude that it won’t happen to them. He says people who drive recklessly in poor weather conditions are skipping the most basic step of avoiding a car accident.
