Bracebridge is looking for ways to keep geese off the beaches
Bracebridge council is looking for ways to prevent goose from dirtying our beaches. At a recent town meeting, it was suggested that the public works department use garlic spray to push geese away from local waterfronts. Publics Works Director Walt Schmid has more.
The town has set aside $6,700 and will be using Kirby’s beach as a pilot. The town is trying to prevent goose droppings in our areas.
