The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department wants you to start thinking about putting new batteries in your smoke and CO alarms. Fire Chief Steve Hernen says old batteries need to be replaced at least once a year. He says since we are approaching Daylight Saving, it’s the perfect opportunity to change your batteries when you’re changing your clocks.
