Parry Sound Town Council will meet for their regular session tonight. They will discuss a resolution to have staff send a letter to the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills in the Ontario Legislature to amend Bill 69.
Town staff says the Bill will set strong limits on municipalities freedom of contract for construction and infrastructure projects if it is passed as is. Council will also discuss appointments to the West Parry Sound Joint Election Compliance Audit Committee. Meeting will take place in the council chambers of the town office beginning at 7:00pm.
