The new nursing station set for Port Carling will be called the Muskoka Lakes Health Hub.
That according to Muskoka Lakes councillor Allen Edwards, who also says it will hopefully open by this summer in a temporary location in the property’s library basement. Construction on the permanent building should start this Spring. The hub will be on the Brock and Willa Wellness Centre property. Allen says organizers are still waiting for Provincial funding to come through. More from Edwards…
Edwards says the provincial funding is for the actual nurse practitioner and assistant that will be working at the site when it gets up and running.
