A public meeting on a proposed solar farm in Windermere will be happening in March. Muskoka Lakes councillor Allan Edwards says the meeting will help determine whether the project gets council’s support….
The 77 acre farm would go in at 1691 Windermere Road and its being proposed by Skypower Global.
If the project gets council’s backing it boosts the company’s chances of getting Provincial funding for the project. Allen says the idea is that the solar farm would help produce energy for Ontario.
