Salvation Army helping those displaced by Bracebridge apartment fire

Those wanting to help people who were displaced in this weekend’s Bracebridge apartment fire can do so. Bracebridge Salvation Army Captain Fred Reid says the Sally Ann is working with Muskoka Victim Services to help 31 individuals move forward. A 63 year old Bracebridge woman was flown to Sunnybrook Saturday night after she was found unconscious and in critical condition in her apartment unit, which was destroyed by fire. Two of Gwendolyn Cartwright’s dogs perished in the blaze. To help the Salvation Army help those in need, call 705-645-2602. Captain Reid says the aid includes helping those displaced find accommodations, food and clothing.
