Roof snow removal dangers and tips

In just over a month, Muskoka residents have seen nearly 200 centimeters of snow. That combined with the risk of freezing rain tonight and 10 millimetres of rain tomorrow could lead to downed trees and downed power lines.

Despite the short time from Muskoka having rain, Reed says it’s not a good idea to clear your roof yourself. To find a snow removal company Reed suggests checking the yellow pages for a company that is registered and insured.
