Fire in Bracebridge sends one woman to hospital

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office is investigating after a fire broke out in a Bracebridge apartment building. One woman was sent to hospital with serious injuries. The building, located on Monck Road Hill next to where the old China Gardens restaurant was, had its units evacuated, but no other injuries were reported. Displaced residents will be staying at a local motel. No damage estimate has been released and the cause is yet to be determined.
