Production of Eve Ensler’s ‘the Good Body’ to benefit two great local services

Fundraisers for two great local services are headed to Bracebridge and Huntsville this Spring. Muskoka-Parry Sound Sexual Assault Services and YWCA Muskoka are co-producing ‘The Good Body’, a play by Eve Ensler who is the author of The Vagina Monologues. It’s happening April 2nd at the Algonquin Theatre and April 23rd at the Rene Caisse. The play’s described as a funny, poignant look at women’s ongoing struggle with positive body image as they age. The Bracebridge production happens during National Victim’s Week and will include a reception and displays of local artwork and info about women’s services in the region. Tickets are $25 (+HST) and will be available through the Rene Caisse and the Algonquin box offices.
