Lake of Bays council to discuss proposed discharge of firearms bylaw

The discharge of firearms proposed bylaw will be discussed at Lake of Bays council this morning. Mayor Bob Young had said the proposed bylaw would regulate when and how much firearms you can discharge during the non-hunting seasons. Originally the bylaw was also going to regulate the use of bows, but it has since been removed. There will also be a deputation from the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters regarding the bylaw. The council meeting starts at 9 a.m.
