It’s Ontario Heritage week and Huntsville is taking part in celebrating history. Manager of Arts, Culture and Heritage Teri Souter says this year’s theme is Play Endure Inspire: Ontario Sport Heritage. She says the town has many things you can see that fits with the theme.
Beyond sport, Souter also says Huntsville has a strong arts history with the Group of Seven Murals, Tom Tompson and more. She says the town has relatively new heritage and is extremely well preserved.
Meanwhile over at Huntsville’s Muskoka Heritage Place, Manager Ron Goslin says the museum carries a lot of items that is in keeping with the theme.
