A Rogers tower on Aspdin Road in Huntsville may not happen after all.
The Planning Committee has tabled the motion asking Rogers to do more research into sharing the Bell tower on South Lancelot Road. During the meeting earlier this week, there were public concerns through letters and a deputation about a tower on Aspdin.
Town staff recommended that co-location with the Bell tower might be the better option. Summit Telecom Services works for Rogers and will be researching the co-location possibility. If it works out, Rogers wouldn’t be required to go through public consultation. However, if Rogers decides on a different design or location, more public meetings would have to take place.
