It’s not a snow day, but a cold day for students in Parry Sound.
The Nipissing Parry Sound Student Transportation Services has cancelled all bus routes in West Parry Sound due to the extreme cold.
That includes buses to Britt and Nobel, Mactier, Humphrey and Rosseau, McDougall, Whitestone, and Ahmic Harbour, and the Town of Parry Sound.
Buses to East Parry Sound South are also cancelled because of extreme cold which included buses servicing South River and Sundridge, Burk’s Falls and Magnetawan, and Katrine, Emsdale, Kearney, Sprucedale, and Novar.
Schools remain open for students who can get there safely, but parents are reminded that cancelled buses will not run in the afternoon and students need safe transportation home.
