Tay man charged in relation to a Huntsville snowmobile theft and others
A Tay Township man is facing jail time for numerous thefts. The OPP says this man is responsible for stealing a snowmobile from Huntsville resident Gavin Bennett. The OPP and Midland Police arrested the 42-year-old man on Monday. He’s charged with five counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property over $5,000. He’s in Midland court next month to answer to his charges. Five snowmobiles, two Stihl chainsaws and an enclosed snowmobile trailer were recovered. The OPP says the stuff was stolen from Quebec to Tiny Township.
