Bracebridge’s proposed off leash dog park receives funding from local animal hospital

Bracebridge’s dog park has received support from the town’s local animal hospital. The Animal Hospital recently donated $487 towards the construction of the Off Leash Dog Park, which is set tospan 1.7 acres in the southwest corner of James W. Kerr Park.  The dog park is still in need of funding to get the project going. Funds raised came from the Animal Hospital’s monthly nail clippings. February 27th and March 20th are the last two days for pets to receive $10 animal nail clippings. All proceeds will be donated to the Off Leash Dog Park project. For donations of $20 or more, a tax receipt will be issued.
