Lake of Bays is holding a public meeting tonight on development charges. Mayor Bob Young says council will discuss the proposed rates and polices that will be applied throughout town.
Young says council wants public input before voting on the proposal, especially certain groups of people.
Young says he hopes the proposal passes tonight.
If the proposal is approved, Young says the development charges will go down by more than 50 per cent. The public meeting is happening in council chambers at 7 p.m.
