Smith not thrilled with M.O.E. response after vehicle left in Muskoka River

Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith says he isn’t thrilled with the response he got from Ontario’s Minister of the Environment Glenn Murray after a vehicle went into the Muskoka River. On October 30th, Bracebridge OPP reported a vehicle had gone off the road on Beaumont Drive and into the river. Smith wrote a letter to Murray sharing his concern after the vehicle was left in the river overnight. In a response to Smith, Murray wrote that there was no evidence of damage to the natural environment. Smith shares his reaction to Murray’s response….

The Minister also wrote that he shares the same commitment as Smith to protecting Muskoka’s Lakes and Rivers.
