A teen faces serious charges after another teen was found with stab wounds in Victoria Harbour.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP was called to McKenzie Court last night around 9:30pm where they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from apparent stab wounds. The boy was taken to Georgian Bay General Hospital by Simcoe County Paramedics then airlifted to a Toronto Hospital for further treatment.
Investigating officers have arrested a 17-year-old boy and charged him with attempted murder and aggravated assault. The youth is being held in custody until a bail hearing later today while police are continuing to investigate.
Further details are expected to be released as they become available although the names of the involved persons will not be released as they will be protected by the provisions of Youth Criminal Justice Act.
