Three rural roads in Bracebridge changed to gravel

Feedback on rural roads in Bracebridge that have been changed from high float to gravel has been positive. That’s according to Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith, who says people are really happy with the change to gravel. Three roads in Bracebridge have made the switch so the Town can more easily manage repairs while saving money. Those roads include certain areas of Waters Road, Lorne Road, and Purbrook Road. Director of Public Works, Walt Schmid has more on the change to gravel…

Schmid says the project is a two year pilot. A review will be made again on whether to continue with gravel in the summer of 2016.
