Miller supports new private members bill and a Fentanyl Patch4Patch

The Muskoka Prescription Opioid Strategy (MPOPS) has support from our MPP on the Fentanyl Patch4Patch Initiative. Norm Miller says members of the team recognized there’s a misuse of fentanyl across the province, causing unnecessary deaths. The program would make sure legitimate users trade in their used fentanyl patches for new prescribed ones. Miller says he fully supports the Private Members Bill and the Patch4Patch initiative. He says he looks forward to debating of Bill 33 with the hope that it receives swift passage through the legislature. The bill that would limit the availability of fentanyl patches. The group hopes to have the Patch4Patch program in effect by March. Click here for more information on the Patch4Patch Initiative.
