Snow squall watch in effect

Prepare for more snow across Parry Sound-Muskoka and Almaguin. Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for the area. The weather agency says a cold front overnight has caused lake effect flurries southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. This could cause some windy conditions and snow squalls of up to 10 centimetres today. Another five centimetres of the white stuff is expected tomorrow as well. Road conditions and visibility will be poor at times. Meantime, Barrie and Orillia are under a snow squall watch and wind chill warning.
